5 Easy Techniques To More Prosperity

By Eric Johnson

Carol Look's all-new Prescription for Prosperity contains 15 tips for easily attracting prosperity into your life. Here are tips 5 through 9:

5. Act from inspiration. Inspiration is different from motivation. Motivation is will power; it's like the first two weeks in your gym in January-it only lasts so long. The people who are still there mid January are inspired to get in shape. Where motivation is about forcing or dragging yourself, inspiration is a feeling of congruence, of yes. When you act from motivation you get lukewarm results. When you act from inspiration you feel light and excited. Sometimes you can't choose when to take action, when you are working for someone else, for example. But when you can, for instance with your own business, wait until you are inspired before you take action. The results will be much better.

6. Install the vibration of abundance. Carol uses a variety of abundance games for this purpose. The gratitude interview is one such game. Choose someone to interview you or pretend someone famous is interviewing you. You write out the questions for your interviewer. Have the interviewer ask, "What do you feel grateful for?" Say the answer out loud or write it down.

Another game for installing the vibration of abundance is the list game. Write down 10 things that you are grateful for today. This can be very effective anytime that you have a negative feeling.

Another game is to write a list of 10 things where the answer is unambiguously yes. This raises your vibration.

You can also do a gratitude walk in nature. Use the time to focus on things you feel grateful for in the here and now. Make a big deal inside about how grateful you are for nature and natural beauty.

7. Count your blessings. How many times have you heard this one? It's true and it will work every time. Start out with a gratitude list - 10 things you're grateful for that you already have. Next, make a list of 10 things you're grateful for that are coming to you - more money, more love, less pain, whatever you want. Just write that list as if you already have them. If you're sick or in pain write down ten things you love about your body; if you're fighting with a spouse write down ten things you love about them (it's not hard once you get going). Writing in longhand with paper and pen is more powerful energetically than typing. The process of writing really engrains gratitude in your brain and automatically raises your vibration.

8. Bless their success. Instead of feeling envious or angry with someone who has what you want, bless their success. If they can do it, you can do it. Write or talk about what you like about what they accomplished. It's okay to feel a healthy competition, when it crosses the line to envy or resentment, you have to transform it or it will slow down your vibration.

9. Stop asking and start listening. Another game to try is acting as if the solution to your issues has already arrived. Take the time to direct your energy on the solution. How would you feel if your issue was resolved? By doing this you move your energy away from a place of lack and propel it toward the feelings you would have if the solution was already present. Rather than concerning yourself with fixing your issue, listen for guidance from the universe. Don't be obsessed with the problem. Give yourself the space and time to hear the solution. Once you've changed your negative vibrations to positive vibrations, the solution will come. Take the time each day to have a few moments of quiet and peace. Focus on your internal body, listening to your heartbeat or focusing on your breath. Pay no attention to external stimuli. By focusing on your internal energy, you can get back to divine inspiration.
