The Science of Making Affirmations

The first step towards practicing daily affirmations is being positive minded about affirmations themselves! If you have made up your mind that, come what may, you will maintain your positivity, then daily affirmations will become your buddies!

Positive affirmations foster personal growth. The personal growth of an individual refers to the overall development of the personality. It is the orientation of the thoughts, action, goals and plans of an individual for improving self awareness and self knowledge. One can feel success in life when one can conquer their weaknesses and build on their natural strengths. Overall development comprises of physical as well as mental aspects of an individual.

What does a painter do before he creates his masterpiece? He creates an image of what he desires to create in his mind first, and then paints it. Even you can be a painter of your dreams. You can draw your dream in your mind and give it life. This will give liveliness to your daily affirmations and will also give you the joy of living out your dreams in advance!

Make "Thank you", an integral part of your life. You can play a thank you game while driving. Thank the road, thank your car; thank the trees....... And by the time you reach your destination, you will be brimming with positive vibes and it will reflect in your behavior towards other people, and receive abundant goodness in return!

Always frame the sentences of your daily affirmations by using positive, uplifting and encouraging words. A unique way to do this is to make your very own dictionary of all the positive words and adjectives you can think of and use them expansively, when creating your daily affirmations. These are some of the common methods you can employ to create your daily affirmations. There are still many more techniques you can use to create beautiful and empowering daily affirmations.
