Christopher Westra is an expert on the Law of Attraction. Christopher received a degree in psychology from Brigham Young University and a doctorate of naturopathy degree from the Clayton School of Natural Healing. He has studied mental and physical health for over 25 years, working with troubled youth and as a counselor in a prison. Christopher lives in Gunnison, Utah with his wife and five boys. He enjoys gardening, mountain running, and connecting people through the Internet.
Christopher also enjoys reading and writing, which is evident from his references to books that have influenced him and from his own publications. This article takes a look at some of Christopher's writings and the writings that are important to him.
Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz
Christopher's first exposure to the Law of Attraction was through Maxwell Maltz's Psycho Cybernetics. Due to the fact that mental rehearsal is an important concept in the book Psycho Cybernetics, Christopher's high school wrestling coach insisted his wrestlers read it. The book discusses experiments performed using basketball players. The team was divided into three groups: one who practiced on the court, one who practiced only in their minds and one group who didn't practice at all. Having used the information they collected from the players' shooting, researchers discovered that the group who practiced mentally faired just as well as the players who practiced physically.
Given the positive results in his wrestling abilities, Christopher started doing it before other events. Through his use with dates, public speaking and sports other than wrestling, he found that mental rehearsal improved his performance no matter where he used it. He currently uses the technique and has passed along this knowledge to his sons.
Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot
Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot focuses on creating physical matter from intangible, etheric energies. After reading Holographic Universe Christopher began to see that what he was practicing with mental rehearsal was not simply visualization. Christopher's own book, I Create Reality, was heavily influenced by this work.
The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles
The Science of Getting Rich became an instant persuasive classic regarding mental or mind science when it was published in 1910.
I Create Reality by Christopher Westra
I Create Reality, as well as many articles and other writings, was first idealized while Christopher commuted to work. The central idea of I Create Reality is the idea that objects are created spiritually well before they are created physically. This is not a new phenomena - the book goes on to explain that this process has been happening since the beginning of time.
Realms of Joy by Christopher Westra
Realms of Joy is Christopher's latest book concerning holographic time and living in that time, instead of our usual linear time. There are many differences between these two types of time/space and Christopher eloquently examines each time's merit in detail. The differences he highlights in this book will help readers to understand the idea of conscious creation in the present as opposed to visualization. Realms of Joy is a companion book to I Create Reality.
Ten Ways That Holographic Creation is More Powerful Than Visualization by Christopher Westra
As free special report, "Ten Ways That Holographic Creation is More Powerful than Visualization" is where Christopher details the differences between visualization and holographic creation. In the report, he states that holographic creation exists in the moment, yet outside of time. You create what you want using your spiritual energy which brings to fruition the physical manifestation of your desires. Ironically, people who report that visualization is a powerful tool are actually practicing holographic creation.
