Upon learning of the law of attraction, folks immediately think of wealth, and for good reason. The universe is bountiful, asking for wealth from that abundance is a no-brainer. Who wouldn't love the freedom and peace of mind that wealth can offer.
Being rich isn't exactly the same as going to heaven, it's not instant happiness. But ask anybody who's been both rich and poor, and they will tell you that rich is definitely better.
Here are some tried and true methods to start up your innate ability to attract wealth.
Your first step is to shake off the negative thoughts and the negative people that obscure your goals. You probably know that, according to the law of attraction, you must constantly visualize and focus on the positive outcomes you want for your life. How do you deal with negative folks, friends and family alike, who might poo-pooh you when you've turned your life towards wonderful goals?
Don't let these folks throw you off your path. They probably are trying to protect you from disappointment or hurt. Folks usually aren't negative on purpose; perhaps they don't understand what you already know; that it takes much faith, desire, and perseverance to be successful, to attract wealth.
Early on, sidestep these folks. Once you get rolling you'll be better able to deal with them. Surprisingly, you'll probably find that once you get rolling the nay-sayers will stand aside.
The universe will give you what you want, and its got a big old closet just full of treats, so why dream small? Perhaps you're thinking that you should be reasonable in your request. Think of what you really, really want. Then go for that.
Think about it. It's just as easy to set a "realistic" goal as it is to set a "far-fetched" goal. Being "realistic" isn't being real when you set goals. There's a lot of "realistic" goals, lots of competition. Did Andy Warhol decide he was just going to be a little artist with a little gallery in New York? Probably not. Everybody wants to get by with a decent job. We know how many of those dreams turned out - poorly.
The universe is expanding according to scientists. Expand your goals. Really now. Would you rather get by or would you rather be a wealth magnet?
Your third step: Inspired action gets the reaction! However hard and sincere your thoughts might be, alone they're not going to bring you wealth. Did you ever look at the odds on a lottery ticket? The odds are millions to one that you will hit the jackpot. About the same odds if you just sit around thinking about being rich.
