Small Actions, Large Changes

By Glenda Feilen

You might've heard someone say that their life has become wonderful since they got a great fortune cookie? You are probably chuckling right now, but the problem is that it's not actually funny since people go about doing just that! They do not know how to create the life they would like, so they let fate decide.

The reality is that you are your own fortune cookie. The Law of Attraction is the very reason your life, at his very moment, is what it is. The Law of Attraction is the explanation behind why every penny, every dollar, every thousand dollars (OR lack of them) has been pulled in to you. The only person you are meant to become is the person you decide to be. The most effective way to do that is by taking action, different action than you are taking now.

Every little step that you take in your life counts. Take what you are saying for example. Does what you say make people feel defeated? Are terms like "I already told you that!" "Don't you ever learn?" "You're so stupid?" familiar to you?

You have probably heard those phrases or something equal. Words are the most important thing that secures a person's emotional state. When you speak to your children, or anybody for that matter, choose your words with care. Articulate words that give others strength, that help produce an upbeat belief in themselves and what they are seeking to accomplish - not words that make others feel defeated.

Discover people doing wonderful things, not undesirable things, when you choose to elaborate. Help them see how they can triumph, even though they may not be doing an outstanding job. Let them know you expect their success. Your words might be just the thing to tip the scales for them and make them have confidence in themselves.

You have an unfair benefit in life when you utilize laws of the universe to attract what you want rather than doing the same thing over and over and attracting anything that comes your way.

Whatever you do, don't fear change. A massive problem that people often have is that they are not receptive to a break in their habits. Consequently they stand in their own way of achieving accomplishments. How easy is it for you to take action? Do you procrastinate? Do you wait until all the objections are overcome? Preferably not, because if you do, you seldom take action.

Action is what triggers attraction. Don't hesitate or delay your goals due to irrational fears and fabricated complications. Alternatively, be pro-active and achieve your goals on a day to day basis (even if they are merely small ones).

You might not feel like following through, however there is a little known secret hardly any people know: If you take action, you will very soon feel up to it. The action of doing something, even when you're not in the mood, generates a new sense of wanting to continue with the action.
