By Darrel Marion

The Law of Attraction, though having existed for centuries now, was only introduced to the masses after it was the features in The Secret. Prior to being featured in that movie, it was already being practiced and taught by some mentors and life coaches. The Secret features some of the most reputable and trusted mentors to help explain what this philosophy is all about; included in this group of speakers is Bob Proctor.

For over 40 years now, Bob Proctor has been teaching about this philosophy and has made it one of the philosophies he lives by as well. Bob Proctor believes that this is actually a pretty logical and simple philosophy to live by if you truly understand the whole picture. If you don't, and you attempt to try it for yourself, you are only setting yourself to fail.

Bob Proctor explains that the Law of Attraction means that everything that comes in your life, may it be good or bad, are attracted by an energy that comes from within. Simply put, if you send out a positive energy to the world then more positive events will also come your way. So if you are an optimist, you pretty have much of the work cut out for you.

Bob clarifies however that there is a certain way for you to properly apply the Law of Attraction into your life. The term "think positive thoughts" may seem like a pretty easy thing to do, however this is one of the biggest challenge when trying to apply the Law of Attraction. For it to work, you need to make a conscious effort that all your energy and thoughts that you send out are positive. It is also important that you do away with thinking that you will fail at this. You need to imagine yourself as is you have already succeeded at your every goal and aspiration.

The Law of Attraction is indeed a pretty simple philosophy. Whether you succeed or not on applying it in your own life will largely depend if you were able to follow everything that you need to do to apply it correctly. The Secret, and other materials, are there to help and guide as you set about learning and applying this philosophy.
